Hi.

I became a yoga teacher in my 40s.

I burned out from a good career in healthcare communications. The smoke and mirrors of corporate and even non-profit life had me down. I knew I wanted to live differently, to do something that felt out of character for a highly responsible, rule-following, anxious former A-student, but I just didn’t know what.

Then when life left me at my breaking point, returning to yoga & meditation helped me put myself back together. I was on a path.

Halfway through my yoga teacher training program, I was laid off. I was angry, I was scared, I was relieved. I knew this was an invitation to try a different way of living.

I also love writing and hope that some of my writing about how life is our yoga lesson may resonate with you.

I still freelance in communications for businesses, curating brand voices and developing internal communications strategies. You can learn more about that here..

What does it mean to be a yoga teacher? I’m happy to teach studio classes, host small groups and workshops, and work with you 1-1 so I can meet you where you are on your path.

I’m especially honored to be a yoga and meditation teacher to folks who think yoga and meditation sound like a terrible idea.

Based in Newbury, MA.
